The hat is really comfortable and looks good. I have a big ‘ol fat head so even with the extra large I had to hold it over some steam and stretch it with that method to get it to fit well. I’m pretty impressed with how well it stretched and kept the shape for my head. I included some pictures of before and after I waxed the hat. The hat took the wax like a champ and I had no problem with getting it on there plus I think it looks waaaaay better waxed. I love the used look and water beading up/running off makes time is the perfect outdoor hat.The reason I took off a star is because this hat does not do well with any kind of rough treatment. Even a small dent in the hat can leave a permanent crease like a paper bag but not in any way you would think looks cool. With the wax on it the creasing isn’t a problem at all. If I wasn’t planning on waxing this thing right off the bat I probably would have returned it because I’m using this hat for outdoors so it needs to be able to take a bit of punishment without looking like a smashed paper bag.Overall a pretty great hat and I’m way excited to put this thing through the ringer.
